Maravela is a restored 1960s townhouse on a quiet street above the bay of Lagos. With just 24 rooms, we know our guests by name — and we'll happily book your boat trip, your table or your airport transfer.
Days here are simple: breakfast on the terrace, a short walk to the beach, an afternoon by the pool and dinner as the sun goes down over the Atlantic.

Ask a questionWhat are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is until 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are free when available — just let us know. We're happy to store your luggage either way.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. Breakfast is included in every direct booking and served on the terrace from 7:30 to 10:30. Leaving early? Ask for a breakfast bag the evening before.
What is your cancellation policy?
Direct bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. After that, the first night is charged. Special offers may have different conditions, which we'll always confirm in writing.
Is there parking at the hotel?
We have a small private car park at €12 per night. Spaces are limited, so please request one with your booking. A public car park is 200 metres away.
How do I get here from the airport?
Faro Airport is about an hour away by car. We can arrange a private transfer (€95 per car, up to 4 guests). There are also direct trains and buses from Faro to Lagos.
Can I bring my dog?
Small dogs (up to 10 kg) are welcome in selected ground-floor rooms for €20 per night, including a bed and bowls. Please mention your dog when you enquire.
Is the hotel accessible?
Yes — we have a lift to all floors and two adapted rooms with step-free showers. Tell us what you need and we'll make sure your room is ready for you.
